What was the highlight of Dakak Beach Resort
Wonderful room, excellent staff, fantastic beach and lots of great facilities.
The attention to detail really impressed me! Trimmed hedges well-kept plants, lovely lighting, and table decor, attentive staff. We loved the cosy beds and widescreen TV. We noticed that they had provided a drying rack for our clothes. A very special unique place! Retro and classy, my kind of place.
We booked a Garden Room with breakfast included but we were surprised when we were charged extra for bread. There was only a Filipino breakfast available (which was great) but the Continental breakfast choices all cost extra.....we found this a bit strange.

I still wish to go back.
The front desk personnel did not inform me if i can avail extra bed even if i paid for the extra person. I need to demand the bed, extra towel and toiletries. I long for the sunday buffet and the staff are super attentive in the restaurant.
The driver was to fast in taking us to the pier and not enough towel in the pool.

So happy and relaxed, but disappointed with the smelly beach front
The ambience, the cleanliness, the approachable and smiling staffs. The availability of transportation within the whole area. The activities they offer, from water sports to land adventures to relaxing spas and restaurants. The beach sand with powder-like texture.
The sea water looks contaminated. The air in the beach front and areas near the beach is smelly. Hope they can take a look at this and take action to stop total nature destruction :(
